About Government Siddha Medical College, Chennai
Government Siddha Medical College, is one of the fine institutions in Tamil Nadu providing enriched education in Indian medicine. Being blossomed on 30th November, 1964, we are now at the verge of celebrating our Golden jubilee. Our college is affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R Medical University and recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New Delhi.
Our vision is to bring awareness about Indian medicine among people and to let them know about the possibilities of this rich knowledge crafted over years. As our motto ‘Seek Learn Serve’ says, we seek the cure for various disorders that torments the mankind, teach the young generation to bring out the best in them to make them take care of this world with their strong wits and tender hands, and also to serve the public with all our best.

The candidate should have studied in Tamil medium up to 10th /HSE/studied Tamil as a subject up to 10th for B.S.M.S and the candidate should have passed the B.S.M.S for MD course.
