Department of Statistics
The Department of Statistics was established in the year 1984 and offers a 4 semester M.Sc. course in Statistics with an intake capacity of 20. Since 2006, it also offers a Post –Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) which is a self-finance course with an intake capacity of 18. Besides, it also offers full-time / part time Ph.D. Programs in which, currently, sixteen researchers are working for their doctoral degrees. The Department is fully equipped infrastructurally with its own statistical lab andcomputer room.
