Biju Patnaik Institute of IT and Management Studies (BIITM) was incorporated in 1999, (approved by AICTE & affiliated to BPUT) under the aegis of Gokarneswar Charitable Trust and with objective to impart Management education which focuses on developing leadership competencies and managerial skills enabling the students to tackle with complex managerial situations and assume leadership roles. BIITM faculty & students are continually engaged in a relentless strive to improve upon the past performance and to further enhance our position in the league of the best management institution in India. At our B-School, we not only emphases on the development of analytical skills but also an in-depth & rigorous application of concepts, tools & technique to impart students a wide range of practical business situations faced by the mangers & the corporate leaders. We train our students to have broad strategic vision, higher corporate responsibility and a degree of flexibility in interpersonal relationships.

BIITM focuses on holistic management education. The commitment is to transform the students into thoughtful leaders. The improved pedagogy combines fieldwork, case studies and instrumented feedback are few of the ingredients catalyzing the process. The intent is to combine intellectual curiosity and open mindedness towards the adventures culmination of ideas.

The collaborative approach has earned BIITM many laurels like the All India ranking of 56 in Placement and Overall ranking of 91 in Business World’s survey of Best B-School’s in India. Business India and Just Careers also rated BIITM in the ‘A’ category of Best B-Schools of the East. BIITM is also a member of CII which gives students an excellent platform for industry interface and learning values.
