Central Board of Secondary examination (CBSE) has announced the date of All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT). The prelims will be held on 1st April 2012 and the main exam on 13th April 2012. This step was taken by CBSE due to postponement of NEET-UG ( National Eligibility cum entrance test for undergraduates).
The AIPMT exam syllabus, exam centers and question pattern of the exam will remain exactly the same as it was in 2011.
Now CBSE plans to introduce NEET-UG for the academic year 2013- 2014 instead of 2012-2013. This was a major step taken by CBSE after the supreme court announcement.
The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) has annnounced that it will be using AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) 2014 scores for MBBS admissions. Candidates who are aiming at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), should now have to appear for AIPMT 2014.
AIPMT is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Students can now download All India Pre-medical / Pre-Dental Test 2012 admit cards online from these websites www.cbse.nic.in or www.aipmt.nic.in
If the application status of candidate shows not received or Please contact CBSE before 21st March 2012 then students should call them and inquire about their problem. Students contacting CBSE must mention details of their application, such as post office, date of dispatch, original receipt of postal dispatch, photostat copy of confirmation page and demand draft, and two photographs as pasted on the confirmation page.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced dates for receipt of AIPMT forms. Last date for receipt of forms without late fees is 25th January 2012. Candidates can apply for the exam online at http://www.aipmt.nic.in/ and fill up the examination form. Payments can be done online or offline at any nationalized banks.

The preliminary exam will be held on April 1, 2012 .
The All India Postgraduate Medical and Dental exam is going to be held on 8th January 2012. AIIMS has issues notice for cancellation of NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate courses).

Karnataka chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda has decided not to participate in NEET till 2014. He stated that there is difference in plus two state syllabus and CBSE syllabus on which the NEET examination is based.
He stated that the state will adopt national syllabus for the science stream in the new academic year 2012 – 2013. This will help them prepare for the NEET entrance test in the year 2014.
