To meet growing IT industry’s demand Information Science & Engineering
course was introduced in the year 2000. Presently the college has an intake of 240 in all four courses together with total student strength of 983.Since then the college has grown by leaps and bounds, with present faculty strength of 68. The college is housed in a 10 Acres 02 Gunta lush green pollution free campus situated on Gooty-Karwar National Highway No.63.
Tontadarya College of Engineering is presently approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Recognized by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Karnataka and affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum. The college aims at providing cost effective, quality education to the students of Gadag, Koppal, Raichur, Haveri & Dharwad Districts of North Karnataka in particular and across the country in general.
