The Institute has contributed immensely in the growth and supervision of many institutes which provide services in areas of public interests like labor, sectors of rural development, health and education. XLRI is a pioneer in imparting education in management and has been instrumental in ushering a new dawn in India by producing some of the doyens in the related field.

For more than 50 years XLRI is conducting Admission Test on all India level to select the most appropriate students for management education. Our long experience and the expertise have helped us in extending this test to other Management Institutes. There are more than 60 Management Institutes who are selecting students from XAT 2010(View XAT Associate Institutes). Applicants desirous of joining XLRI or any other institutions have to appear for XAT 2010.
