Apr 18 Established in 2006, the Government Degree College at Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district continues to function from a rented building.Among 18 dingy rooms, half of them are used for official purposes and rest seven to eight rooms serve as lecture halls for around 3000 students.The College lacks basic infrastructure including lecture halls, computer labs, laboratories and playing field.According to students, due to the paucity of space, the college authorities establish makeshift tents on the ground that serve as classrooms.
