Admission 2010
Awadesh Pratap Singh University invites applications for admission to the following Courses Session 2010 - 2011 offered by the University Teaching Departments :
1. M.Phil. Programs (through Entrance Test) : (2 Semesters) in Environmental Biology and Policy Research.
Eligibility :
For Environmental Biology : Master's Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks.
For Policy Research : Master's Degree in Business Economics / Economics / Geography / Political Science / Public Administration / Psychology / Sociology / Anthropology with at least 55% marks.
2. M.Sc. Programs : (4 Semesters) in Environmental Biology; Chemistry; Mathematics and Physics.
Eligibility : B.Sc. Degree in the relevant subject with 45% marks in theory papers.
3. M.A. Programs : (4 Semesters) in Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology; Business Economics; Psychology; English; Hindi and Philosophy.
Eligibility : Bachelor's Degree with 45% marks in theory papers. Preference will be given to those candidates who have studied the subject at degree level.
4. M.A. Programs : (5 Years Integrated Program) in Russian Language.
Eligibility : 10+2 level or its equivalent examination.
5. P.G.D.C.A. (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application) : (2 Semesters).
Eligibility : Bachelor's Degree or a Post Graduate Degree with 50% marks, and Commerce or Mathematics at 10+2 level or its equivalent.
6. Part Time Courses :
Certificate of Proficiency in Russian Language (6 Months Course) : 10+2 level or its equivalent Examination.
Advanced Diploma in Russian Language (1 Year Course) : Certificate of proficiency in Russian Language or its equivalent examination.
Note :
Those candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but their result is still) awaited are also eligible to apply.
The admission in M.A, M.Sc. and P.G.D.C.A shall be made on the basis of merit of qualifying examination by the Head of the Department as per the norms of Admission Guiding Principles session 2010 - 2011 issued by Higher Education Department, Government of M.P. and A.P.S. University, Rewa.
For admission in M.Phil., the concerned Department will hold an Entrance Test and Counselling on 01st August, 2010, as per the norms of Ordinance 40 of A.P.S. University, Rewa.
Application Forms can be obtained, from Office of the concerned Department of A.P.S. University, Rewa personally on all working days by giving University Cash Receipt or Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (for SC / ST Rs. 250/-) drawn in favour of "The Registrar, A.P.S. University, Rewa (M.P)" for the above Courses.
Application Forms can also be obtained by Registered or Speed Post through a D.D. of Rs. 500/- (for SC / ST Rs. 250/-) adding Rs. 50/- (Postal Charge) in favour of "The Registrar, A.P.S. University, Rewa (M.P.)". The candidate should also enclose a self - addressed unstamped envelope of 28x20 cms size.
The Application Form can also be downloaded from University website (www.apsurewa.ernet.in / http://apsurewa.nic.in) and completed Application Form must be Submitted along with required fees as mentioned above.
For admission to the Post Graduate Courses, complete Application Form must reach to the Office of the concerned Department, A.P.S. University, Rewa latest by 20th June, 2010. Completed Application Form for M. Phil should be submitted to the concerned Departments on or before 31st July, 2010.
Candidates may apply for more than one course. However, separate Application Forms are to be filled for each course.
Relaxation in qualifying marks and Reservation for SC / ST / OBC / PH etc., will be as per M.P. Government Rules.
