M.A. Communication: Graduate in any subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for Uttarakhand SC/ST)

Master of Business Administration (MBA): Graduate in any subject with minimum 50% marks (45 percent for Uttarakhand SC/ST). Admission will be based on valid MAT score plus group discussion & personal interview

M.A. Economics: Graduate in social sciences/ commerce with minimum 50% marks and background in quantitative techniques is desirable

M.A. Social Anthropology: Graduate in Humanities, Social Sciences, Biological Sciences and Geology with minimum 50% marks

M.A. Design in Communication (Film & Graphic Design): Graduate in any subject with minimum 50% marks

M.A English: Graduate in any stream of Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities with minimum 50% marks

M.Sc. Mathematics: Graduate with mathematics as one of the subject (Minimum 50 % marks from a recognized board of secondary education; (45% for Uttarakhand SC/ST)

M.Phil Economics: Masters degree with minimum 55% marks in Economics (45% for Uttarakhand SC/ST) in the aggregate in Economics from a recognized University

Ph.D Environmental Science: Masters degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent OGPA in Environmental Science or basic or applied science

Ph.D in Communication: Masters degree in Mass Communication and Journalism with minimum 55% marks or equivalent OGPA

Ph.D in Management: MBA with minimum 55 percent marks or equivalent OGPA

Environment Impact Assessment (PGDEIA):

Graduate in science and engineering disciplines with minimum 50% marks or equivalent OGPA (45% for Uttarakhand SC/ST)

Health and Hospital Management (PGDHM):

Graduation with minimum 50% marks in Medicine, AYUSH, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Science, Management, Economics and Social Science. Preference to medical and health professionals and staff involved in public health activities at the community, hospital, district or state level organizations/institutions, nominated by government, private, corporate organizations

Security Management: Graduation with minimum 50% marks (45% for Uttarakhand SC/ST) and below 30 years of age; Ex-serviceman and candidates with NCC certificates will be given preference

Entrance Test Centers are

Dehradun, Haldwani, New Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Patna, Bengaluru and Jammu

University reserves the right to change/ cancel any of these centers. Test Center notified in the admit card will be final

Reservation: 50 % seats are reserved for Uttarakhand candidates including SC/ST/OBC and General Candidates from Uttarakhand only as per State Govt. rules

Remaining 50 % seats shall be filled on All India basis

SC/ST/OBC candidates from other states will be treated in General Category

How to Apply

Candidates can apply/ purchase Application Form/Prospectus using following options

i) On cash payment of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates) or by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 650/- (Rs. 350/- for SC/ST candidate). Payment of application form Fee by Cheque / Money Order shall not be accepted

A copy of the valid SC/ST certificate will be required at the time of issue of the Form
