St John National Academy PG Medical Entrance Exam 2015

St Johns National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore invites applications for PG Medical Entrance Exam for the year 2015. PG Medical Entrance Exam 2015 is conducted by St Johns National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

PG Medical Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Interested candidates should fulfill following eligibility criteria:

=> Candidates having qualified for the MBBS degree from any university recognised by the Medical Council of India and should have satisfactorily completed the Rotating Compulsory Internship of one year before the starting of the courses, and registered with the Indian Medical Council and thereafter preferably served in India for a period of at least two years in medically underserved areas, recognised as such by this Institution are eligible to apply for the Post graduate Degree and Diploma courses

=> A person can apply for any four degree curses. In specialities with both PG degree & diploma, a single application for the subject can be made

=> Allotment of degree/diploma seats will be according to the final merit list

=> Special consideration will be given to alumni of St. John's Medical College who have served in medically underserved areas and underprivileged people, recognised as such by the College

=> Candidates who have taken more than two years beyond the minimum period required, to pass the MBBS course are ordinarily not eligible to apply for a post-graduate course

Application Procedure for PG Medical Entrance Exam:

Candidates are advised to refer to official notifications /documents for detailed application procedure. IndCareer.com published details for informational purpose.

=> Application Forms and Prospectus can be obtained from the Admissions Office by paying demand draft of Rs.1000/- in favour of "ST. John's Medical College", payable at Bangalore.

=> The candidate while submitting duly filled application form has to make the following payments towards application/entrance exam fees

=> Demand draft for cost of application for PG Medical (Degree/Diploma) Rs.1000/- in favour of St John’s Medical College, payable at Bangalore

=> Demand draft for cost of application for M.Sc Nursing Rs 700/-, P.C.B.Sc Nursing Rs 600/- in favour of St John’s Medical College Hospital, payable at Bangalore

=> Candidates who collect application from and prospectus in person should submit the application form the above mentioned documents without additional payment in case he/she applies for one subject

=> In case he/she applies for two subjects, a demand draft for Rs. 700/ - needs to be enclosed

=> If he/she applies for three subjects, a demand draft for Rs. 1400/-

For four subject a demand draft for Rs.2100/-

Candidates are required to submit following:
=> MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate;

=> Statements of marks of all MBBS examinations (as in the form enclosed)

=> Caste certificate (if SC/ST from Karnataka)

=> Compulsory rotating internship certificate

=> A certificate from the authority concerned to the effect that the Hospital where internship was done is a teaching Hospital or recognised by the University/Medical Council of India for Internship training as the case may be state Medical Council Registration Certificate.

=> Conduct certificate from the head of the institution where the candidate studied for MBBS course

=> One copy of a recent passport size photograph affixed on the hall ticket duly completed (Attestation will be done by the Registrar)

=> Senior House Surgeons/Junior Residency certificate or Service certificate from the competent authority, whichever is applicable

=> Certificates showing distinctions, scholarships, honours, medals etc (MBBS only)

=> Post-graduate diploma or degree certificates, if any

=> A certificate from the head of the Institution last attended, giving details of the number of attempts at each examination and failures, if any

=> a certificate showing extra-curricular activities /Sports (Intercollegiate/State only)
