Eligibility: 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics & English (PCBE/PCME), provided the candidate pass each subject separately
SSC examination of CBSC or equivalent (10+2) with 50% or more marks for general category and 45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC and CWAPP category in the aggregate of four subjects; PCBE for BPT/BOT and PCBE/PCME for BPO, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately
The candidates appearing/appeared in the 10+2 examination may also apply
However it is subjected to their clearance of qualifying examination with a required percentage of marks before declaration of result of entrance test
The candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination before the year 2010-2011 and have discontinued their regular studies for more than 3 years are not eligible to appear in the entrance test
Age (as on 1st August, 2014): Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years of age for General category, 28 years of age in case of SC/ST/PH category

Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, General 15, SC - 05, ST - 02, OBC - 08, PH - 01, CWAPP - 01
PH - (Physically Handicapped-(3% seats) horizontal reservation across the categories), STNA-states where such training facilities are not available, CWAPP-Children of War Widows and Army personnel who have died or disabled during hostilities, FN-Foreign Nationals
General /CWAPP/OBC - Rs.700/- (Institute counter-by hand), Rs 750/- (by post)
SC/ST/PH- Rs 350/- (Institute counter-by hand), Rs 400/- (by post)
The Prospectus cum Application form can be obtained by depositing a pay order/demand draft drawn in favour of Director, Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute for the Physically Handicapped payable at New Delhi
Prospectus will be available on sale counter in Accounts Section of Institute between 10.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. on all working days
Date of sale of Prospectus at Institute: 21st April, 2014 to 30th May, 2014 till 04.00 p.m.
Last Date for issue of Prospectus by Post: 26th May, 2014 (Monday), 05.00 p.m.
Last Date for receipt of application form: 30th May, 2014 (Friday), 05.00 p.m.
Date of Entrance Test: 22nd June, 2014 (Sunday)

However, such downloaded application forms should be submitted along with a Bank draft of Rs.750/- for General category and Rs.400/- for SC/ST and PH candidates
