Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% marks in Graduation; candidates appearing in Final Year Graduation Examination (1st attempt) in summer 2015 can also apply

Such candidates will have to produce final year result of Graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate on or before 31st October 2015 failing which their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled
In order to be called for GD & PI for admission to PGDM & PGDM (IB), an applicant must have a valid CAT (Score card of CAT 2014) or valid GMAT score

In order to be called for GD and PI for admission to PGDM (RM) & PGDM (IBM) an applicant must have valid CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT score

Cut off and number of candidates to be called for GD & PI process: There is no pre-defined cut-off, but the call list will be prepared on the basis of CAT/XAT/MAT/ GMAT/CMAT percentile in a ratio of maximum 1:10 for total number of seats in all the programmes after the last date of application

How to Apply

Procurement of Form: Application form (common for all the programmes) can be procured from the website www.bimtech.ac.in

Filling up the application form: Application form can be filled online using following payment methods:

A) Payment through Scratch Card

a) Scratch Card can be purchased from Admission office of the Institute by paying Rs.1500/- in cash (Mon-Sat 10.00 am to 04.00 pm)

b) Scratch Card can be purchased from various centers of IMS, T.I.M.E. & Bulls Eye across India

c) Scratch Card PIN number (16 Digits) will have to be given in the space provided in the online application form

B) Payment through Credit/ Debit Card

Application form can be filled online followed by paying Rs.1500/- through Credit/ Debit Card

Venue and Time Schedule for GD & PI

GD & PI will be held in mid February 2015 (tentative). GD & PI call letters will be sent (in first week of February, 2015 tentatively) at the e-mail id provided in the application

A hard copy of the call letter will also be sent on the address provided in the application form

For all programmes GD & PI would be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Indore, Ranchi, Trivandrum, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna, Pune, and Greater Noida in the month of February 2015 (tentative)

Online application form can also be filled using scratch card, which can be purchased from the BIMTECH admission office or channel partner centers or Axis Bank branches (list given on www.bimtech.ac.in) on payment of Rs 1500/-

Duly filled downloaded application form can be sent to admission office BIMTECH along with demand draft of Rs.1500/- in favour of “Birla Institute of Management Technology” payable at Greater Noida/New Delhi

The Institute reserves the right to cancel/add any of the outstation centres

Document Verification

Every applicant should submit a self attested photocopy of each of the following documents at the time of the GD & PI failing which his/her candidature will be rejected:
1) Mark List of Class X
2) Mark List of Class XII
3) Mark List of Graduation (all years/ semesters)
4) Score card of CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT /MAT whichever applicable
5) Work Experience certificate (if applicable) from a company which is MNC or listed Public Ltd Or Private Ltd Or registered NGO with minimum turnover of Rs.50 Crore. Supported by audited financial statement of financial year 2013-14
The work experience should be in a managerial/supervisory role of more than 12 months with minimum salary package (CTC) of Rs.1.8 Lac per annum and post qualifying examination.
6) Documents prescribed for applicants under DA Category (if applicable)

8) Corporate sponsorship certificate (if applicable)
9) NRI/NRI sponsorship documents (if applicable) as prescribed

Important Dates

Last date for submission of Application Form for all programmes: 30th January 2015

GD & PI call letters will be issued to shortlisted applicants in first week of February, 2015 (tentative)

Final Selection List would be declared by 3rd week of March 2015 (tentative)

Academic session of all the programmes is likely to start on 15th June 2015 (tentative)
