Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate must have passed the required MD/MS or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in the respective discipline as mentioned below:

- MD Psychiatry or equivalent

- Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hepatology, Nephrology

Age Criteria
- The candidates must have completed the requisite qualification, degree and tenure by 30.06.2021. The candidates who are likely to complete their 3 years requisite qualification, degree and tenure after 30.06.2021 will be allowed to appear in this examination provisionally subject of fulfilling all the eligibility condition on 30.06.2021
- For general category candidates – 45 years
- For OBC candidates (please attach proof as per Annexure*) – 48 years
- For SC/ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officer including ECO, SSCO who have rendered or released on satisfactory assignment – 50 years
Application Process
- Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website www.pgimer.edu.in.
- Candidates should fill in the Online Application form correctly. Incorrect filled forms may lead to rejection.
- A candidate seeking admission to the Entrance Examination is required to submit his/her application in the prescribed format available online with the Prospectus on www.pgimer.edu.in.
- The cost of Application Form includes the fee for entrance examination which is non-refundable and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- The candidate is required to go through the Prospectus carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all requirements with regard to filling the online application form.
Application Fee
- For all Categories except PwBD – Rs. 1500/- + Transaction Charges as applicable
- PwBD category is exempted from fees.
- Mode of Payment – Through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking
Selection Procedure
- ‘Selection Procedure’. The selection will be finalized only after the counseling of the candidates. Any candidate who is absent at the time of counseling will not be considered for admission. All the candidates must bring the original certificates at the time of counselling and joining.

- Mode of Exam – Online Mode (Computer Based Test)
- Duration of Exam – 90 minutes
- Date of Examination – 31st May 2021 (Sunday), 09 AM to 10.30 AM.
- Exam Centres – Chandigarh, Bangalore, Delhi & Kolkata
- Language of Paper -English
- Type of Question – Objective Type
- Number of Questions – One Paper of 80 MCQ (eighty)
- Marking Scheme – No Negative Marking For Wrong Answers
