M.Sc Admissions 2012 at Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bangalore
Eligibility for the course:
(a) A recognised BSc degree in any branch of science or technology, viz. life sciences (agriculture, biotechnology etc.), physics, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, engineering, pharma, veterinary or medicine with minimum of 55% marks. Please contact IBAB in case you have a doubt about whether you are eligible.
(b) Students awaiting their results can also apply, provided their average percentage of previous semesters/years is at least 55%.
(c) There is no age limit.
HOW TO APPLY:
Admission Procedure:
(1) Application processing fees (non-refundable):
* Rs. 500/- for students from India
* Rs. 1000/- for NRI/Foreign students
A Demand Draft for the above mentioned amount in favour of 'Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology' payable at Bengaluru, should be sent either with the request for application form (by post/courier) or with the filled in application form (if downloaded).
(2) Application Form:
(a) Fill up all details on-line at link: http://resource.ibab.ac.in/cgibin/application/Onlineapp.cgi and seprately send DD, 2 passport size photos and photocopies of marksheets to IBAB by post/courier. THIS OPTION IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
(b) The form can be obtained by sending a request by post/courier along with a DD.
(c) The form can be downloaded from: " http://www.ibab.ac.in/MSC/Application_form.doc " as a word document or from " http://www.ibab.ac.in/MSC/Application_form.pdf " as pdf document.
The downloaded word document form can be filled up and sent as an attachment by e-mail at " info@ibab.ac.in " and the DD and the other documents can be sent by post/courier. The form sent by e-mail will be processed only on receipt of the DD. The downloaded pdf document form should be filled up and sent along with the DD and the necessary documents.
