The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) has been postponed JEM 2011 Exam Schedule from April 17th 2011 to May 22nd 2011. The Delhi Pre-medical Test is also scheduled for 22nd May, 2011.
The WB JEE Board chairman Siddhartha Dutta said, “We had to postpone JEE as most of our exam venues (school and college premises) in the six north Bengal districts where polls are to be held on April 18 will be requisitioned by the Election Commission".
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board will seek the Supreme Court’s permission to publish the Results after 15th June, 2011. The apex court had ruled in 2009 that all Joint Entrance Examination Boards must declare their results by that date.
Nearly 1.30 lakh students will take the tests this year. Last year, the results were declared within 40 days of the exam.
The WB JEE 2011 Exam Schedule on 22nd May, 2011 : Mathematics from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, Physics and Chemistry between 12:30 and 2:30 pm, Biological Sciences from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
