AICET-UG 2011 on April 30, 2011
Common Entrance Test (PIMS-AICET-UG 2011)
Applications have been invited from eligible candidates for Common Entrance Test (PIMS-AICET-UG 2011) to be conducted by the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni, for selection of students to MBBS {Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery} and BDS {Bachelor of Dental Surgery} course run by the constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences , Loni, to be commenced on August 1, 2011. Entrance examination will be conducted on Saturday, 30th April 2011 from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. in following cities: Ahmedabad, Surat, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jammu, Hyderabad, Kochi, Indore, Bhopal, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
(i) Candidate must be Indian National and the nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate /Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered as a proof of nationality.
(ii) The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 1994 to be eligible to appear for PIMS-AICET-UG 2011.
(iii) Candidate must have passed the Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as a core course.
HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates can apply to university courses using any of the following 3 options:
OPTION 1: Download the application form from website link: http://www.pravara.com/aicetug2011.pdf and send it to PIMS by desired date. Downloaded application to be submitted with a DD for Rs. 1200/- in the name of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni, payable at Pune.
OPTION 2: The prospectus can be purchased from University Admissions Office or by writing to "Competent Authority, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni-413736, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra" upon payment of Rs. 500/- (for by post add Rs.200.00 towards postal charges). The DD should be drawn in the name of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni payable at Pune.
