MSc (Sports Coaching) Admissions 2011-2012

Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala has invited applications for admission to MSc (Sports Coaching) course, affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala, for the Academic Session 2011-13.

The course will be conducted in the following sports disciplines at NS NIS, Patiala: Athletics, Basketball, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Swimming, Volleyball, Weightlifting and Wrestling

Qualifications for MSc (Sports Coaching):
i) Graduate Degree from any recognized Indian / Foreign University
ii) Diploma in Sports Coaching from SAI NS NIS, Patiala or its other academic Centers
with minimum 60% marks.
iii) Aptitude for research work
iv) Proficiency in Sports
v) Age not more than 45 years, on the date of commencement of the course(Upper
age limit can be relaxed up to three years in case of deserving candidates.

Application:

Prospectus containing the details and application form can be obtained from office of the Executive Director, SAI NS NIS, Patiala on payment of Rs.500/- on counter or through post by sending demand draft of Rs.550/- drawn on SBOP / SBI payable at Patiala in favour of Executive Director, SAI NS NIS, Patiala.

The application form can also be downloaded from website www.nsnis.org

Candidates applying on the downloaded application form must enclose a demand draft of Rs. 500/- with application form, drawn in favour of Executive Director (Acad).

The last date for submission of duly completed applications at SAI NS NIS Patiala is May 15, 2011.
