MD/M.Ch Admissions 2011-2012
Applications have been invited from eligible candidates for admission in the Academic Session 2011 in the following courses for the current session commencing from July 2011.
01. M. Ch. Urology
02. M.D. Anaesthesia
03. M.D. Biochemistry
04. M.D. Microbiology
ELIGIBLITY: M.Ch.
A candidate must possess M. S., General Surgery/DNB General Surgery for M. Ch. & MD, General Medicine/DNB General Medicine for DM
Note: - The Candidates who are likely to complete 3 years requisite degree course by 10/06/2011 may also apply. However, the candidates who complete their 3 years requisite tenure after 10/06/2011 are not eligible to take up this examination.
Upper AGE LIMIT: 35 years as on 10/06/ 2011 relaxable in cases of SC/ST and other categories as per Bihar Govt. reservation rule
ELIGIBLITY: M.D
a.) A candidate must possess MBBS degree for M.D. course from a University recognized by Medical Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/practical training on or before 10/06 2011. The candidates who complete their internship after 10/06/2011 are not eligible to take up this examination.
b.) The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all the MBBS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs /STs.
COST OF PROSPECTUS-CUM-APPLICATION FORM:
For General/OBC category : Rs. 1000/- by cash/Demand Draft.
For SC/ST category : Rs. 500/- by cash/Demand Draft in the Name of Director, IGIMS, Patna.
HOW TO APPLY:
Application Form & Prospectus (M.D/M. Ch./D.M Courses) can be obtained by sending a demand draft for Rs. 1000.00 (Rupees One thousand only) & Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred only) for SC/ST in favour of “DIRECTOR, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna” payable at Patna and a self addressed stamped envelope (25 cm x 10 cm) bearing stamp of Rs. 40/- (Rupees Forty only), from the office of Registrar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sheikhpura, Patna – 800 014.
Application Forms and Prospectus can also be obtained from the office of the Registrar during office hours on all working days on payment of fee as mentioned above. Application form can be downloaded from Institute website www.igims.org.
The application form should be duly filled in by the applicant in his/her own handwriting and forwarded to the office of Registrar, Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sheikhpura, Patna – 800 014 by Registered/ /Speed Post/Courier Only.
Last date for obtaining Prospectus/Application Form from the Office of the Dean upto 09/06/2011 till 3:30 P.M.
Completed application form should reach on or before 10/06/2011 till 3:30 P.M.
