Library system of IGNOU deploys interns under its Library Internships programmes with qualifications in Library and Information Science and Computer Science to train them in library operations/ICT applications. University Library, IGNOU has an ongoing Library Internship programme. Under the programme, Internees are deployed in the library on monthly stipends as various types of trainees depending upon the qualifications.

The interested candidates may apply in the application form in the given format given below with the attested copies of certificates. Only screened applicants shall be considered for appropriate type of library interns for which requirement arise depending on the workload during different periods of the year. The selected interns shall have no right for claiming regular appointment in the University.
