Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET)-2011
Applications have been invited for the Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET)-2011 for admission to 85% quota in Under-Graduate courses (MBBS/BDS) of Academic Year 2011-12. DUMET - 2011 will be held on Sunday, 22nd May 2011 at Delhi.
Educational Qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course:
The candidates must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English separately and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows & Wives of Armed & Para Military Personnel (CWWAPP category) killed or disabled in action in wars 1947-48 onwards and wards of Ex-servicemen personnel and serving personnel of the Defence/Armed Forces and all Police Forces who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards, who have passed qualifying examination from Indian Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College (only) on the basis of their merit in the DUMET-2011. The condition of studying 11th and 12th class from a school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates.
Application form:
1. The application form along with Bulletin of Information (BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 7th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker's Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of 'Registrar, University of Delhi' payable at Delhi, in the following manner:
(i) BY HAND: for Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General and OBC category candidates and Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH category candidates, till 07th March, 2011.
(ii) BY POST: for Rs.800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred only) for General and OBC category candidates and Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only) for SC/ST/PH category candidates, along with a self addressed envelop of 12" X 10" , upto 11th February 2011.

Candidates have to enclose the requisite Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque of Rs. 750/- (Rs. Seven Hundred & Fifty only) for General/OBC Category candidates and Rs. 550/- (Rs. Five Hundred & Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH category in favour of the "Registrar, University of Delhi" payable at Delhi with the downloaded form.
Applications duly filled in and complete in all respects with requisite Demand Draft are to reach the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 on or before 07th March, 2011 upto 03:00 P.M.
