Applications invited for admission to B.A.,LL.B, 5 years Law Course by The Law School JU
Applications for admission to B.A.,LL.B, 5 years Law Course are invited by The Law School, University of Jammu, Jammu for the Academic session 2011-12 from the candidates who have passed/appeared in 10+2 or equivalent examination in any discipline of J&K Board of Secondary Education or an examination of any other Board/University recognized as equivalent thereto, with not less than 45% marks (40% marks in case of Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe candidates) as per the following schedule:-
1. Sale of Information Brochure 26-05-2011 to 20-06-2011
2. Sale of Information Brochure with late fee 21-06-2011 to 30-06-2011 of Rs. 100/-
3. Last date for the receipt of application form 25-06-2011 complete in all respects.
4. Last date for the receipt of application form with 30-06-2011 late fee of Rs. 100/-
5. Issuance of Admit Cards for Entrance Test 30-06-2011 to 01-07-2011 (10:00am to 4:00pm)
6. Date of Entrance Test 02-07-2011 Reporting Time 9:00 a.m.
The Admission Brochure-cum-admission form shall be available from J&K Bank, New University Campus Branch from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The cost of Information Brochure/Application form is Rs. 500/-. Outstation candidates can send their request for Form to the Director, The Law School, University of Jammu-180006 along with the requisite Bank Draft and one self addressed envelope of size 19x27 cms duly affixed with the stamps of Rs. 50/-. The Admit Cards for Entrance Test are to be collected personally or through duly authorized person from the office of The Law School.
A candidate seeking admission against the Self Finance Seat shall have to declare his/her intention in the appropriate column in the application form and deposit an additional fee of Rs. 500/- in the shape of DD drawn in favour of Director, The Law School payable at Jammu and if selected, shall have to deposit Rs. 1.50 lakh at the time of admission in The Law School, besides the normal Fee/Charges for the course.
