3rd & final Counseling/ On Spot Admission Counseling on 9th Aug 2010
Venue: NIT Patna, CWRS Building 1st Floor
1. Status of Vacant seats as on 5th Aug 2010 in M. Tech Admission 2010 is displayed in the table below.
2. The candidates who had applied earlier for admission and are eligible, they may join
the counseling on 9th Aug 2010 at 2.30pm.
3. Any candidates who have not applied earlier but want to participate in 3rd Counseling/
On Spot Admission Counseling on 9th Aug 2010 may do so. Such candidates are required to submit their
application between 10.00 to 11.30 A.M, along with self certified copy of relevant certificates and
application fee of Rs.500 (five hundred) in the form of DD drawn in favor of “NIT Patna” payable at Patna
and join the counseling from 2.30 PM
4. The Merit List based on the GATE Score, Gate marks out of hundred, and aggregate
percentage in the qualifying examination, shall be prepared and admission shall be granted
against the vacant seats strictly as per merit list.
5. Candidate of any particular category must submit the valid and latest certificate in prescribed format for
his claim.
6. All such candidates selected for admission shall have to take admission by depositing the fee same day

or latest by 4.30 PM on 11 Aug 2010, else the admission shall be treated as
cancelled.
7. This will be the final round of counseling and the admission shall be closed on 11th Aug 2010.
