Admissions to Fellow Programmes 2011-2012
IIM Calcutta, has invited applications from candidates with proven academic backgrounds, who have the intellect, interest, and ingenuity to pursue doctoral studies in management sciences and related disciplines for admission to Fellow Programmes in following specialization:
Behavioural Sciences, Economics, Finance & Control, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Operations Management & Operations Research and Systems Analysis, Public Policy and Management, Regional Development, Sociology and Strategic Management.
Candidates having a Master's degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks (or equivalent professional qualification) and a three-year Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the aggregate; OR
a First Class Bachelor's degree in Engineering (i.e., with at least 60% marks in the aggregate or an equivalent grade point average) are eligible to apply for the course.
In addition, applicant must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in either the Secondary or the Higher Secondary Examination of a Board (or equivalent).
A final-year student appearing for the Bachelor's degree examination in Engineering or Master's degree examination in any discipline can also apply. Such a candidate, if selected, will be provisionally admitted provided (s)he completes all requirements for obtaining the degree before 30th June, 2011.

Completed Application Form(s) have to be submitted along with an Application Fee of Rs.300/- by a crossed demand draft payable to 'Indian Institute of Management Calcutta' on a bank in Kolkata.
An SC/ST/OBC applicant need not pay the application fee as long (s)he sends an attested photocopy of his/her SC/ST/OBC certificate.
When applying to two areas of specialization, an applicant is required to submit two separate application forms, complete in all respects, one for each area of specialization. However, a single payment of the application fee of Rs. 300/- will suffice for each applicant, as long as (s)he submits the two application forms at the same time.
Completed Application Forms have to reach the Administrative Officer - Fellow Programmes and Research, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata 700104 on or before January 24, 2011.
