Goa Institute of Management, Ribandar, Goa, invites Online applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management for the Academic Year 2011-13.
Eligibility for PGDM at GIM Goa:
Minimum 50% aggregate marks in a three-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) recognized by the Association of Indian Universities/AICTE. Candidates who will complete all requirements for the degree by 11th June 2011 may also apply. For admission to the post-graduate programme in business management 2011-2013, only those candidates who register for the XLRI Admissions Test (XAT) 2011 of Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur (XLRI) OR the ATMA test (AIMS) which will be held on 19th December 2010 OR both may apply for admission to GIM.
Application for PGDM at GIM Goa:
Candidates have to logon to the website link: http://184.73.49.226/GIM2010 for registration to the PGDM Course.
Candidates have to choose/Click the test(s) taking this year from amongst the following 3 options while filling the registration format: XAT/ATMA /XAT & ATMA.
Applicants have the option of making an online payment using a credit card/debit card/net banking facility or to pay at the nearest ICICI Bank Branch. Registration fee is Rs.1550/-.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Candidates seeking admission to GIM are required to observe the following procedure:
Applicants to GIM are required to take the XLRI Admissions Test (XAT), which will be held on 2nd January 2011. OR the ATMA test (AIMS) which will be held on 19th December 2010.
Apply online - Last date for online application is 31st December 2010.
Candidates who have applied for admission to GIM will be shortlisted on the basis of their XAT/ATMA scores, past academic performance and work experience. The shortlisted candidates will be called for face to face evaluation process for final selection in February/March 2011. (Interview centres – Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Panaji)
The final selection will be made tentatively in April 2011 on the basis of XAT/ATMA scores (50% weightage), the candidate’s past academic performance (10% weightage), performance in face to face evaluation process (30 % weightage) and work experience (10% weightage), if any.
The academic session would begin in last week of June/first week of July 2011.
