All India Admission Test of XLRI, Jamshadpur (XAT 2011)

The All India Admission Test of XLRI, Jamshadpur (XAT 2011) for the Programmes viz. Business Management, Human Resource Management, General Management and Fellow Programme in Management, will be conducted on 2nd January 2011 in the following 33 cities:
Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Trivandrum, Vadodara, Visakhapatnam.

Candidates who have completed Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university or deemed university are eligible to apply for Business Management/ Human Resource Management streams.

Those who are working in a full-time job along with five years of relevant managerial experience apart from the above mentioned criteria are aligible to apply for one year General Management Programme.

For admission to Fellow Programme, candidates should be holding a master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with atleast 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST Candidates) with the Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification having atleast 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after a minimum of 10+2+3 years of education or a professional qualification like CA/ICWA/CS with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) or B.E/B.Tech degree or equivalent with atleast 60% marks ((50% for SC/ST candidates) and two years relevant work experience.

The cost of the Propsectus and application forms are as follows:

For General candidates: Rs 1000/- for one programme or Rs 1600/- for more than one and maximum of three programme.
If through DD, the amount is Rs 1050/- and Rs 1650/- respectively.
For SC/ST candidates: Rs 700/- for one programme or Rs 1200/- for more than one and maximum of three programmes.
If through DD, the amount is Rs 750/- and Rs 1250/- respectively.

Candidate has to first register for XAT 2011 at www.xlri.net.in to accord the XAT ID and password. Application forms can be obtained through the sources mentioned under:
1) The candidate has to take the printed Pay-in-slip (from the site www.xlri.net.in) to the Axis Bank branch to buy the XLRI Prospectus 2011 by remitting the cost of application and prospectus.
2) By remitting a DD of required amount and avail the Prospectus from the Admissions Office, Admissions Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001.
3) Downloading the application forms and propsectus by making online payment using a credit card/debit card or make use the net banking facility.

Completed application forms along with necessary documents are to be sent to the Admissions Office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur-831001 on or before 30-11-2010.
