Punjab has scrapped the state-level combined entrance test (CET) for admission to undergraduate engineering course. From the next academic session, the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) will be the criterion to enter the state colleges, said Suresh Kumar, principal secretary (technical education and industrial training), here on Sunday.
The chief minister has approved the proposal of Punjab Technical University to discontinue to CET.
