    Career Opportunities

    The program duration for MBA (SCM) is 2 year by Distance Mode / week end classes comprising of four semesters. Aspirants may choose to take breaks in between subjects/ semesters. However they are expected to follow a normal period of three years i.e. Students will have to complete the program within three years from session start date (other conditionsapply).

    ELIGIBILITY
    A pass in three years degree with 50% marks from a recognized university or equivalent degree.
    A pass in three years degree with less than 50% marks from a recognized university or equivalent degree can also be admitted provided he has 3 years experience in the field.
    Lateral entry will be given to the students who have successfully completed GDMM / PGDMM course from IIMM.

    Program Details
    Please draw one DD in favour of "Finance Officer KSOU" for an Amount of Rs.3500/- (which includes Regn. fee of Rs.500/-) payable at Mysore" and another DD in favour of "Indian Institute of Materials Management for an Amount of Rs.12000/payable at Mumbai"(Per Semester).

    ENTRANCE TEST
    Can be conducted at all branches but students should be attached to those branches who have applied for registration & approved by Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysore. Written test for 90 minutes will be conducted on Oct. 30, 2011. The fee for written test @Rs.200/- may be charged.

    PROSPECTUS
    Should be sold at Rs.500/- (Rs.550/- by post). The application form is also available on our website www.iimm.org which can be download by the students & submitted alongwith the DD of Rs.550/- (Prospectus can be simultaneously dispatched to save the time).

    CERTIFICATE DEGREE
    Candidate successfully completing the program will be awarded a degree of Master of Business Administration (SCM) from Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysore in association with Indian Institute of Materials Management, Mumbai.

    GRADING SYSTEM / DECLARATION OF CLASSES

    Distinction More than 70 percent 1 Class
    I Class More than or equal to 60% but less than 70% Marks
    II Class More than or equal to 50% but less than 60% Marks
    Pass More than or equal to 40% but less than 50% Marks
