Revised medical entrance examination by CBSE

According to an online news report, the Supreme Court of India has announced on 20th October, 2008 that the medical entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education will have only objective type questions from the year 2009. CBSE had approached the apex court to give them permission to execute the new pattern of questions for the second and final segment of the medical entrance tests. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the medical entrance test for 15 % seats in different medical colleges. Justice P. Sathasivam and Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan has permitted the implementation of the revised pattern for medical entrance examination by CBSE.
