Department of Library and Information Science
Dissemination of Knowledge is one of the important features of inculcation and the Department of Library and Information Science makes its best endeavours in this direction. The department have been offering BLIS (one year) , MLIS (Two year) and MLIS (Five Year integrated) programmes. In the last five years the faculty has earned 2 projects worth thirty three lakhs of rupees. Fifty eight researchers have successfully completed their Ph.D. programs and 44 their M.Phil Programmes. The department has carved a riche conducting five national seminars. The faculty have published 139 research papers in national and international journals. The faculty have won two awards and the endeavours of the teachers will make a positive continuum in the years to come.
