The Sultan–Ul-Uloom College of Law was established in 1989 as an affiliated College of the Osmania University at Hyderabad.The College offers a three year course leading to the degree of LL.B of the University.The academic year normally commences in July/August each year .The College also has the approval of the Bar Council of India,New Delhi.The Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Law, affiliated to the Osmania University at Hyderabad, was established in 1989. The College is recognized by The Bar Council of India and has also the approval of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
The College is managed on modern principles of management and it offers a three year course leading to the degree of LLB of the Osmania University. The degree qualifies its holders to enroll themselves as advocates with The Bar Council of the State, which enables the enrolled member to practice law in any of the courts of the State, including the High Court. The curriculum is in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by the University in consultation with the University Grants Commission and the Bar Council of India.
There are excellent, well lit and well furnished lecture halls, law library and reading room with text books, reference books, law reports, law journals and a computer facility, a moot court, staff rooms and facilities including premises where debates, discussions and seminars are held.
