India International School celebrates Mother’s Day

Kshipra Path located India International School celebrated Mothers’ Day with a lot of enthusiasm on Saturday. Various activities have been organized for the students and their mothers to strengthen the mother daughter bond.

Students of International Wing displayed their love while showcasing ‘Camp Rock’, an award winning film about the mother and daughter relationship and how important mothers are. This was followed by flower arrangement and salad decoration where they displayed love and affection through their creations.

In another activity, an interactive session was organized for the parents of Class 1 students related to ‘Parenting and Nurturing’ in which they discussed various parenting tips to understand the needs of the children.

Junior wing also celebrated this day by organizing an Intra Class Painting Competition for the students of class 2 in their respective classes. The topic for the competition was ‘My Mother My Role model’.

Also present were parents and guidance of the students. This year VMSIIHE has witnessed admissions from the students from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Kerala besides Goa. International students from Thailand and UAE have also joined the present batch.

    Diwali celebrated at V.M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE) It was a night of sparkle, shine, dhoom and dine at the Diwali celebration organized by V.M Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE). The institute successfully hosted its first Diwali gala dinner to celebrate the end of its first term at its sprawling campus in Raia, with a cultural extravaganza, excellent hospitality and festive cheer.

The Hindi feature film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is based on the athlete’s life~ As a tribute to its founder Vishwasrao Chowgule, Chowgule College celebrates Founders Day on the 25th of August each year, at the college campus. This year the college will host Padma Shri Milkha Singh at the college campus to share his experiences and interact with students.

Vandana Lull School director- Principal believes Ipad will make teaching and learning very interactive and students will have to carry less burden of books. But the move is not accepted well by all the parents. Some parents believe that it may distract students and the normal mode of teaching is far more better than teaching with latest gadgets.
