KIIT University receives CCI Technology Education Excellence Award

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University has won the CCI Technology Education Excellence Award as the 'Best University, Promoting Research and Development'.

Prof. P. P. Mathur, the Vice Chancellor of KIIT University received the award in Ahmedabad. CCI Technology Education Excellence Award is given to University that encourages Research & Development, and publications in world class journals.

CCI Technology Education Excellence Award is jointly presented by Consortium of Co-Chairpersons-Industry (CCI) of Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and Communication Multimedia and Infrastructure (CMAI) Association of India. It is supported by ASSOCHAM, a national chamber of commerce and industries.

The programme was graced by His Excellency Mr. Shaida Mohd. Abdali, Ambassador of Afghanistan to India, His Excellency Mr. Rizali. W. Indrakesuma, Ambassador of Indonesia to India, His Excellency Dr. Lewis Mbilizi, Deputy High Commissioner of Malawi to India and His Excellency Mr. Ndubuisi V. Amaku, High Commissioner of Nigeria to India.

NIT Puducherry receives Award of Excellence by CCI Technology Education Awards 2014

National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NIT-Py) has been given the "Award of Excellence" by CCI Technology Education Awards 2014. The award was conferred by Gujarat Technological University and Communication Multimedia and Infrastructure Association of India in Karaikal. Bhupendra Singh Chudasame, The Minister of Higher and Technical Education of Gujarat, presented the award to Dr Mrs S K Pandey, director, NIT-Py on July 19 at Ahmedabad.

KIIT Polytech wins 'Best Upcoming Polytechnic College in India' award

Dr Ramdas M Pai, chancellor of Manipal university to be honored with Datuk

Dr Ramdas M Pai to be honored with Datuk, A Malayasian award. He is the second person after Shahrukh Khan to gain the recognition. The award is given to individual who has given good service to Melacca state and to Malaysia. The recipient of the award is called “Datuk” and his wife “Datin”. Dr Pai was awarded Padma Bhushan this year.
