JIPMER signs MoU with University of Michigan, USA

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Pondicherry

Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has signed memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Michigan School of Public Health, USA, on boost research projects at Pondicherry campus.

University of Michigan School of Public Health, USA is providing USD 50,000 (Rs 30 lakh) and JIPMER will be contributing same amount for research projects.

Dr TS Ravikumar, JIPMER director said that non-communicable diseases was a major thrust area in addition to maternal and child healthcare. The MoU, to be in force for five years, envisages exchange of publications and reports on various public health schemes, development of innovative teaching methods and course design, holding of joint symposia, workshops and conferences as well as capacity-building projects for faculties.

V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education signs MOU with Turismo de Portugal in presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister of Portugal António Costa

V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE), Manora-Raia, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Turismo de Portugal. The MOU was signed by Mr. Dattaraj V. Salgaocar, Chairman of VMSIIHE, and Mr. Luis Araújo, President of Turismo de Portugal, in the presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Portugal António Costa who is presently in Goa on a state visit. Professor Irfan Mirza, Director of V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education lead the efforts in forging a collaboration between the two nations.

The IIS University and French embassy signed MoU

The IIS University and French embassy signed MoU A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between The IIS University and French Embassy on Tuesday. Institut Francais en Inde (French Institute of India), French Embassy has set up a French Digital Corner on the campus of the university. MoU has been signed between the two parties for the period of 3 years.

FORE School of Management, New Delhi and European Institute for Asian Studies EIAS, Luxembourg signed an MOU for collaborative research, publication, exchange of resources for research projects in the areas of corporate social responsibility, social policy, environment, international cooperation, and development. The MOU was signed by Dr. Jitendra K Das, Director, FORE School of Management, New Delhi and Mr. Axel Goethals, CEO, European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS).

Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology (RIET), Jaipur signs MoU with Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology (RIET) Jaipur, one of the renowned Engineering and Management Institution in Rajasthan, has become the first technical institute to provide soft skill training in association with Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC). In this regard, RIET has signed an exclusive MoU with TSSC, a society registered under the Societies Registrations act, based in New Delhi.
