St Xaviers College, Kolkata has announced to introduce Bengali honors course in remembrance of their former student and president of alumni association in 1927.
About the Bengali honors course, Rev Fr Dr Raj said "We want to keep the fees low since many middle-class Bengali families will want to enroll their wards into this course.".
West Bengal Minister of Education, Bratya Basu, will inaugurate the Bengali Honors course at a function organized by college on Aug 5 & 5, 2012. The function will also have cultural stage drama based on Maheshweta Devi's Ajir.
UP board exams for class 10th and 12th standard students has been rescheduled from 1st March 2012 to 16th March and exams will conclude on 20th April 2012. Dates were revised due to clash of examination dates with election dates.

Indian students can apply for the Scholarship by applying for the undergraduate or graduate program for the academic year 2012. Four Scholarships worth 10,000 USD will be awarded for study at a college or university situated in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom and United States of America. Rest six scholarship worth 5, 000 USD will be awarded for study at any college or university located in the TOEFL directory.
